The room was cozy and had a lot of vintage charm. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and clean. I loved the antique furniture, definitely gave it character. It was a bit small, but that’s to be expected in a historic place. Just a heads up—there’s no air conditioning, which was fine for me, but maybe not for everyone. Shower worked great!

the cardinals has a fantastic location, just a short walk to the cathedral. the pub is super charming, with a great selection of ales and a friendly, welcoming vibe. i particularly enjoyed the continental breakfast basket each morning! it felt cozy and a bit nostalgic, like stepping back in time. it’s definitely a spot i'll return to.

The character of the inn is truly delightful, making my three-night stay enjoyable. I appreciated the daily breakfast picnic basket placed outside my room, which made mornings special.

The ensuite bathroom, while modern, had a slight inconsistency in hot water availability during peak hours.

We had a fun evening in this place. Loved the charming old-school feel, especially with those cool windows! The beer was top-notch, and the bar staff were super friendly. Wish they had chips on the menu though. felt a bit off not munching on some while enjoying a pint. A breakfast hamper to the room was a neat touch too!
